Synopsis: A couple with longstanding marital issues lands at LAX after a getaway in Europe. For a few years now, Stefania (Elena Beuca) has been working a job she detests and her husband Dan (Dave Rogers) hasn't worked at all. Their palpable strain is only made worse when a Danish vagabond, asks for a ride to the busiest freeway in Los Angeles. Stefania doesn’t want to have anything to do with the wanderer, but her husband Dan, much to his wife's horror, offers to bring this total stranger to their home. How will this affect the couple? The director invites you on a 3-day journey, seen through Stefania’s eyes, to view and discover that desired change doesn’t always come in the package that we want or expect.

Elena Beuca grew up in a small farm town in Transylvania, Romania. After graduating from law school in Bucharest and working in real estate, she became interested in the entertainment industry and moved to Hollywood where she studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has appeared in the HBO comedy series "Enlightened," the Fox Network action drama "Gang Related" and Nickelodeon's "Victorious." Elena has always loved a good challenge, so when a friend introduced her to the 168-Film Festival (where filmmakers have 168 hours to shoot and edit a short film) she decided to jump in with "Connectivity." She is currently working on another feature film that will be shot in the fall of 2017 in South Carolina. "D-love" is her first feature film. Elena Beuca will be flying in all the way from Los Angeles to attend!

Dave was born and raised in West Milford, New Jersey. He Graduated from Wilkes University with a degree in Behavioral & Social Sciences. For seven years, Dave traveled and worked in Greece, France, Alaska and other States across America. Three of those years, his winters were spent in the French Alp’s and the summers were taking teenagers across America as a counselor.
Dave worked on the Floor of the New York Stock Exchange for nine years. After all these years Dave realized he couldn’t shake his childhood dream of being an actor and in 2006 he moved to Hollywood and joined the Ivanna Chubuck acting school. This is were Dave meets his group of friends who together created short films, commercials, and webisodes. From this he discovers his love and talent for writing. D-love is his first written feature film and he is currently developing a TV series and other feature films.

Winnifred Jong is a Toronto-based ﬁlmmaker. The Offer was her debut short ﬁlm, winning the Deluxe Canada First Award and nominated for Best Short in the 2016 Directors Guild of Canada Awards. She was selected to participate in the 2016/2017 Women In the Director’s Chair to develop her web series, Tokens, which recently received Teleﬁlm MicroBudget Production funding. Her second short, Milk, recently world premiered at the Canadian Film Fest and US premiered at Rahway Film Festival. She was a Finalist in the 2016 Reel Asian Film Festival pitch for her third short, Distant Cousins.

Synopsis: Ian, an introverted tinkerer, finds comfort in the tiny jar worlds he builds in his basement. His sister, determined to break him out of his shell, forces him to go on a double date with a friend, which Ian finds strangely invigorating. With less time to spend building his terrariums, his worlds begin to infiltrate his reality, jeopardizing the lives of those around him.

Alexa Werrlein is Senior at Montclair State University in the midst of shooting her Senior Thesis film, she graduates January 2018. Having written, directed, produced and edited “Tiny Worlds”, it has become one of her most ambitious and personal projects yet. Alexa finds inspiration in Rod Serling’s “Twilight Zone” and the works of Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Joe Wright, The Coen Brothers and Wes Anderson. Alexa loves working with cameras and wants to be a Director of Photography for film and cinematic television.
